During the summer I mostly photographed using my 120 mm Holga camera. I find that using film increases my curiosity of what the outcome will be. In this particular image I am attracted to the soft blue glow coming through the window. I am fascinated by the chance you take using film and the pleasant "mistakes" that take place along the way. People who are close to me inspire my work, such as my sister, who appears in this photograph. I would like to analyze the relationships around me that essentially create my work and strive to develop a stronger voice in this upcoming year at MIAD.
