In this semester long project, I am exploring something unfamiliar to me- portraits. There are several perspectives in which a person is viewed in life. There is the way they view themselves and the way others view them. I want the viewer of these portraits in turn to create their own perspectives of the subjects photographed using the evidence provided. Personal environments, props, light, abstraction, obscurity, and color will be utilized to portray these personalities and characteristics.
