Cell phones and camera images have entered our American daily routine in a way were it is hard to understand who really is a photographer because of the availability to create these images. Taking this idea and using a cell phone camera trying to capture images that abstracts the traditional photograph in to compositions and colors that could exist in a painting is what I was interested in for this project. - Matt W.
