The students of MIAD-FA382 are currently hard at work on individual projects, the subjects of which they proposed early in the semester. It's a widely diverse set of projects, as you can imagine. Some have run into issues along the way, and the original ideas and approaches are being tweaked as the work progresses. Their hard work will culminate in a competition at the end of the semester. Last year, the projects were judged by a panel of professional photographers - this year, the students will have the experience of a juried competition.

I'm thrilled to announce that our juror for the project competition is David Bram, the founder, editor and curator of Fraction Magazine. In the world of photography online, David is at the forefront of seeing and critiquing work, and we're grateful for his (generously donated) time and expertise.

We also have some wonderful prizes for the top projects, to be announced soon - stay tuned.
