There is a constant tension between artificial and natural landscapes—a tug-of-war for space and attention. Reclaiming Earth visits the land where the two aspects have collided. Vines wrap around telephone poles like shaggy boa constrictors, ivy crawls around garages like leafy hats. Bold green streaks across sandy stone signaling the deconstruction of the modern landscape, a pull back to primitivism. The natural world creeps around our daily existence, attempting to reclaim the spaces that were stolen from it.
